What is the essence of our lives? I kept pondering over this question as I start out my day. So many thoughts at the same time, what is the apex of our existence? Or is there none at all? Perhaps, is there more to life than what we go through everyday?
Our existence here on earth connotes some reasonable deep thoughts why we should carefully examine how we live it. Sometimes, people think, they got it all when they've acquired lots of wealth, but at that point they realise with more wealth comes more responsibilities, and consequently, more problems. On the other hand, also, a low income earner complains about how he doesn't have all the money, but there he is, he wants more.
As much as I don't want us to think this life is a twist of some sort, however, I deeply think there is more to life than what the eyes can meet. You want more money, when you get it, then what's next? You got more responsibilities and problems, cause your scope got wider and bigger. You ain't got no money, you still got problems. Problems and challenges are facts of life which can never be out ruled. Whether you're the president of the world or an humble fellow living from hands to mouth, one thing is certain, we all have challenges and problems. One would have thought about the accolades and prestige that comes with the status of a wealthy fellow, do you know that even high profiling folks in our society has got one or more thing they all through.
Therefore, getting to a point when life will be free of challenges is simply a mirage. With high social status comes more and increased responsibilities. Consequently, with a low social status, comes also, more responsibilities. Then what's the way out of this? I'll tell you, life is just so simple for those who's got several experiences. A visit to the old peoples home will make you realise that at old age, one could never have required more from life than happiness and a sense of fulfilment. This ultimately comes as a result of you living your life on purpose. Enough of the 'crowd walk', find your own path and walk it. Well, don't expect it to be easy, cause nothing in life comes easy. To be poor ain't easy, likewise, to be a world champion as well is not quite an easy task. So, make up your mind today, be determined and focused not to let go of your dreams because of the challenges you facing, cause if you hold your ground, you're gonna come out through it.
You got to realise at this point that, all humans got problems they go through, don't look down on yourself with so much hatred, despair and feeling dejected cause of all you been through, cause you ain't giving up, you gotta keep going. Someone once said, when the going gets tough, the tough gets going, which are you?
